A comprehensive review of the individual’s condition, conducted by a specialist matched to the file’s clinical focus. Used wherever an independent clinical view is needed: benefit decisions, return-to-work planning, treatment direction, or settlement and disposition of any kind.

CAT Assessments

Assessment of catastrophic impairment for the most serious, highest-stakes files - the work we built our entire ethos around. It runs on a process built specifically for it: an early clinical review of the brief before anything is booked, a multi-specialist team matched to the file, and a report that answers the actual questions raised rather than working from a template. Paper / File Reviews

A clinical review of existing medical records, without an in-person assessment. Often the right starting point when the question is whether a full IME is even warranted, or when a focused second opinion is what the file actually needs.

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs)

A structured, objective evaluation of what the person can actually do, physically and functionally. Used to inform return-to-work planning, accommodation decisions, disability determinations, and anywhere else a clear-eyed view of capacity matters more than a guess.

Cost of Care Evaluations

A specialist-led assessment of current and future care needs, with the costing to match. The output is a document that can carry weight in care planning, funding decisions, or anywhere a defensible projection is required.

Medical Malpractice/Standard of Care

An independent expert opinion on whether the care provided met the accepted standard - prepared for legal and insurer files where that question is central.  A specialist in the relevant field reviews the records, sets out what the standard of care required in the circumstances, and gives a clear, defensible opinion on whether it was met.

Abuse & Trauma-Related Cases

Assessment of the psychological and physical impact of abuse or traumatic events, conducted with the care these files require. We match the specialist to the nature of the case, take the time the person needs, and produce a report that documents the impact clearly and sensitively for the decision that depends on it.

How We Accommodate

Whatever your client needs, we’re flexible. Our coverage is nationwide and most assessments can be coordinated virtually, so we can meet your client where they are. When travel, mobility, hospitalization or other challenges are a factor, we work around them and cater to accessibility - the file doesn’t stall because getting to an assessment is difficult.
