We built CVS around the file.

Capital Vocational Specialists is a national independent assessment provider. We deliver medical and allied health evaluations for the people and organizations who need an answer they can rely on. We’ve been doing this long enough to know what the work demands, and we’ve built our services around that, not the other way around.

In practical terms, that means a small team that picks up the phone, a specialist network we know personally, and a methodology that doesn’t bend to who’s asking. The file gets what it needs. The person being assessed is treated like a person. The report says what it actually found.

What We Stand For

Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs)

The methodology is the same whoever referred the work and whatever answer they were hoping for. We’ve turned down files that didn’t fit. We’ll turn down more.

CAT Assessments

Catastrophic impairment is the most demanding work in this practice. It’s also the work we know best. The team and the method were built for it.

One person on your file, start to finish.

There’s no administration queue, no relay race between coordinators. Our team scopes the work, briefs the specialist, and walks you through the report.

Wherever the file lives.

We work across Canada
and we get on a plane when
the file needs us in the room.

How We Work

Every file moves through the same five steps: scope, match, brief, assess, report. The specialist assigned to the file is the one whose clinical focus, credentials and (where it matters) language fit the work, not the next person available. The report is written to be clear enough that the person who referred it can use it, and complete enough that whoever reads it next can rely on it.

None of that is novel It’s just rare.
